Christmas is a time for sharing and receiving. It's about the thrill of the party season, being swept in in that holiday feel and celebrating with family.Something that may be very easy to do.  In the shops and stores there will be new Christmas themed stock, a lot of which may be too pretty to pass by. The Christmas sets in the drugstore and the highend stores can be very beautiful, and seem to be good value for money. Whilst most of them are it can be easy to get swept up in the madness of it all.

However, what is easy to forget is the cost of some make up. A lot of the time these sets may be an a lot of money, and therefore it is wise to look towards the more affordable brands to create a make up look. Therefore, I thought it was best to create a makeup look that was made entirely from affordable make up. And make-up products used only from the drugstore. I still think the look is very pretty and appropriate for Christmas parties. What I do also think is you would have no idea it has been made using only drugstore make up!

I love the dark red lip, accentuated using a sparkly eye. For this look in particular, I have used a deep red/berry coloured lip, and a intense gold sparkle on the eye. To complete these I took a dark shimmer colour with berry accents to complement that of the lip colour.
